Since 2017, the Bamboo Children and Youth Theater has been operating sustainably as Mongolia’s very first private, interactive theater specifically designed for children and youth aged 1 to 18. As of 2025, they have presented their works to over 50,000 children and young people, successfully participating in both international and domestic performing arts projects. Through the medium of theater, they contribute significantly to the emotional education and creative thinking of children.

Key Achievements and Specialties:

  • Creative Portfolio: Produced 12 full-length plays and over 100 “Storytelling Hours.”

  • Educational Impact: Offers five types of specialized arts training and workshops.

  • Unique Themes: Their productions tackle social and environmental issues.

  • Pioneers of “Baby Theater”: Bamboo is the first in Mongolia to develop the “Baby Theater” genre (specifically for children aged 1–4), collaborating with directors from Russia, Denmark, and the USA to stage a total of five Baby Theater productions.

Involvement in the Wanderlust Festival:

Within the framework of the Wanderlust Festival, the Bamboo Theater serves as the central hub for human resources and festival organizers. The team is actively contributing their time, expertise, and skills as part of the working group for all festival activities.
