Country: Indonesia

April 20
Duration time
1 hour

First-grade students
This workshop invites participants, both children and adults, to explore everyday
objects as media for play, storytelling, and imagination. Participants will be
encouraged to view objects not only for their function, but also for their possibilities of
movement, sound, character, and relationship to the body.
Through simple exercises, participants will experiment with holding, moving,
balancing, and “bringing” objects to life, both individually and in groups. No previous
art experience is necessary. The focus is on curiosity, collaboration across ages, and
the joy of discovering small stories from objects familiar to everyday life.
This workshop is designed to be easily adapted as a family activity, allowing for
collaborative play, shared imagination, and creating moments without relying on
verbal language.
